This is an official YPO/WPO Forum and Educational Development Program.

Introduction:

This 3 – 3 ½ hour program introduces members and spouses to Forum. It is an interactive and captivating process after which the participant will grow to understand and experience why YPOers name Forum as the key benefit to their membership.

Key Outcomes:

• Understand why 80 percent of YPO members rate Forum as their prime membership benefit.
• Become familiar with Forum through a practical experience.

Who Should Participate?:

• Members and Spouses not yet in Forum.
• Prospective Members.

Profile and Number of Participants:

Designed to be implemented in one group of approximately 10 participants or a larger group that can be divided into smaller groups of participants. If a Taste of Forum has more than 10 participants, a best practice would be to ask for chapter members to act as “moderators” of the smaller groups to model and facilitate discussion. The Taste of Forum can also be used for smaller groups, even to 1 or 2 participants. You will need to modify timing and discussion. The smaller group can have just as powerful an experience if you keep it more “conversational” and less "orientation". Participants must be comfortable being in an open communication environment.

Time Commitment:

3 – 3 ½ hours. All participants are asked to be present throughout the meeting with mobile phones turned off.
