Barry Kaplan is respected as an expert in organizational development and leadership of people and teams, guided by his insight and compassion.

Barry has held entrepreneurial and senior executive roles in the tourism industry ranging from: COO of Liberty Travel, a 200-store chain with over 2,000 employees from 1986-1995; Board member of King International Corporation, a public company in hotel, gaming and restaurant businesses from 1986 - 1990; President and Board member of Transmedia Network, a public company from 1995-1998; co-founder and senior executive of 21-company roll-up funded by private equity from 1998-2003; and recently, owner of Group IST a specialty group travel company. Earlier in his career, Barry practiced corporate law.

Recognizing his signature strengths of identifying untapped potential in individuals and groups - coupled with decades of success in inspiring people and building teams, Barry trained extensively and led YPO retreats and executive team retreats during the last decade, and in 2008 Barry chose to follow his passion and use his talents to guide leaders in their development as a full-time vocation. Barry is a Certified Forum Facilitator and actively leads Forum Moderator Development training, Forum Fundamentals, Taste of Forum and Forum Retreats.

Barry received his B.S., magna cum laude, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1980, and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 1983. He was a member of YPO in New Jersey and Florida from 1993 to 2004, is currently a member of the New Jersey WPO Chapter and active volunteer in community affairs. Barry has been married for 25 years and has a daughter.

In the mid-1980s, Jeff left a “Big 6" consulting firm to become co-founder of a highly successful computer consulting business. From 1988 through 1995 Jeff's business grew rapidly, recognized by Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing 500 Companies list in '92 and '94. He later sold his business to a large, multinational, computer consulting company.

As a serial entrepreneur, Jeff engaged in different opportunities over the next few years. He formed a brand management company focused on creating unique brands for elite professional athletes from Latin America. He was also one of the creators of The Latin Quarter Restaurant at Universal Studios’ “City Walk” in Orlando, Florida. The Latin Quarter is an award winner that continues to earn Best Latin Restaurant and Best Latin Night Club honors annually.

During these years, Jeff also developed a keen sense of the work that he found most rewarding and decided to capitalize on his core gifts. This led him to his true mission which is to help leaders reconnect to their passion and purpose, and to create meaningful experiences to support that process.

Jeff is happily married to Toni and is a proud dad to two boys: his stepson Chris who’s attending college and his little guy CJ who is in elementary school. He was an active member of YPO and was Chapter Chairman of the Florida Chapter and is currently a WPO member. He and his family have been heavily involved with the Family Resource Center, a shelter for homeless and abused children. Jeff is a competitive triathlete, winning his division in 2009 and enjoys fishing and racing cars.
